How to Apply
The admissions process depends on if you are applying as a matriculated or nonmatriculated graduate student. Please carefully read the information below to ensure you are following the correct admissions process.
To be considered for admission into the Public Health Preparedness and Response Certificate (Graduate) program, applicants currently enrolled in a Temple University graduate program housed in the College of Public Health must work with their graduate advisor to add the certificate. You will not complete an admissions application.
To be considered for admission into the Public Health Preparedness and Response Certificate (Graduate) program, applicants currently enrolled in a Temple University graduate program housed in a school or college outside the College of Public Health must meet the following requirements.
- Application
Submit your application through SOPHAS Express. -
CV or resume
Submit your curriculum vitae and/or professional resume. -
GPA
You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0. -
Statements of interest
Submit your statements of interest and the program’s relevance to your career goals.
To be considered for admission into the Public Health Preparedness and Response Certificate (Graduate) program, nondegree-seeking applicants must submit the following application materials.

Submit your application through SOPHAS Express. -
CV or resume
Submit your curriculum vitae and/or professional resume. -
Letters of recommendation
Submit two letters of recommendation (at least one from an academic or college instructor, preferably graduate level). -
Statements of Interest
Submit your statements of interest and the program’s relevance to your career goals. -
Transcripts
A bachelor’s degree is required to apply. Submit transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions you’ve attended.
Admission Deadlines
The College of Public Health Admissions Office will coordinate the admissions process through SOPHAS Express for all applicants.
